The Heritage Centre is sustained by the generosity of its supporters. Donations in several categories are welcome:

  • Monetary donations are received with gratitude, and are designated for the current needs at the time. Official receipts are issued upon request of the donor.

  • The Heritage Centre is honoured to receive memorial donations. We wish to be a part of remembering friends and neighbours who have passed on and who have been a part of our community. Official receipts are issued upon request of the donor, and a letter is sent to the bereaved family acknowledging the donor and gift.

  • Donations of artifacts, photos and documents are crucial to the Museum’s ability to interpret the Island’s storied past. As important is the sharing of stories by older residents and others who can yet tell us of bygone events. Together such donations form the foundation of a museum, and as such are most gratefully received.

  • Each year we are grateful to receive odds and ends that are often greatly needed: office equipment, reference works for our library, door prizes for our special events, etc. Please inquire if we have a need for your specific article.

If you would like to make a donation to the Pelee Island Heritage Centre please contact us anytime.
